Porcelain Veneers

Porcelain veneers provide a more durable and beautiful recovery after previous treatments following a swimming accident

Question about grooming

Part of the teeth were broken off by an accident in the pool at the age of 7.

Restored by her own dentist with root canal treatments and composite. Mrs. does not want to lose her teeth but would like to have them restored in a more durable and beautiful way.

Treatments

Mrs. was unhappy with her current composite restorations. She was afraid to smile and be photographed.

We proposed 4 porcelain veneers after the root canal treatments were redone. We made a washout and tested it in her mouth. This allowed us to make further adjustments to get the shape exactly as the patient wanted it. All the composite was removed and special bonding techniques were used to rebuild and shape the teeth.

For color determination and fitting in the mouth, Mrs. went to the dental office.

After Mrs. was completely satisfied with the shape and color, the veneers were permanently bonded to her teeth. Achieving excellent results like this requires close cooperation between the dental technician and the dentist.
